The annual training put on by the NCADV began in 2009 as a way to ensure that professionals working with domestic violence victims/survivors were properly trained on the dynamics of domestic violence and how to respond appropriately to the crime.

Since 2009, the annual training has expanded to include additional fields and disciplines that serve domestic violence victims within their work, such as health care, education , and government employees.

This day-long training includes local as well as national experts on various topics surrounding domestic and sexual violence.

Our next training will be held May 4th, 2018 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm at the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, 901 R.S. Gass Blvd, Nashville, TN 37216.
