Our Mission

The purposes of the Nashville Coalition Against Domestic Violence are:

  • To promote meaningful interactions among domestic violence organizations

  • To provide a forum for national, state and local authorities to speak about domestic violence

  • To educate members of our community about how to prevent and respond to domestic violence.

  • To promote a social and collegial atmosphere for NCADV members

  • To make sure that domestic violence is recognized as a crime and that its victims are safe and supported in our community.

Domestic violence-related homicides accounted for 15% of all homicides in Davidson County in 2015.
